Biography

Eliza is a psychologist and used to work as a psychology teacher at the Chechen pedagogical institute. Since February 2000 she worked at the Nazran’ office of the human rights centre “Memorial”. As of May 2004, Eliza is working as a consultant for the International Helsinki Federation in Vienna, where she continues to be engaged in the human rights situation in the Chechen Republic.
